About ISPChamp
Built by ISP Operators, for ISP Operators
ISPChamp was born inside KaritKarma — a 2Tbps ISP in Bangladesh (AS 64005). We needed modern tools, couldn't find them, so we built them. Now we're making them available to every ISP.
The Story
Like most ISPs in Bangladesh, KaritKarma started with manual spreadsheets, migrated to a PHP billing system (SRZONE), and eventually hit a wall. The legacy stack couldn't handle auto-provisioning, real-time monitoring, or IPv6.
When we looked at commercial ISP platforms, they were either too expensive, too rigid, or designed for markets that look nothing like Bangladesh. No bKash integration, no NID verification, no BTRC compliance.
So we built ISPChamp — a modern, multi-tenant ISP platform designed specifically for the challenges and regulations of South Asian ISPs. And then we realized the hardware BRAS was the next bottleneck to eliminate.
2018
SRZONE v1 — The Legacy Era
KaritKarma builds a PHP-based ISP billing system (SRZONE) to manage its own subscriber base. It works, but it's fragile and monolithic.
2021
Growing Pains
At 2Tbps aggregation and thousands of subscribers, SRZONE hits its limits. ionCube-encrypted PHP, MySQL bottlenecks, and manual OLT provisioning slow everything down.
2024
ISPChamp Development Begins
KaritKarma begins rebuilding ISP management from scratch — Go microservices, Next.js frontends, PostgreSQL, and a vision for software-defined BNG.
2025
ISPChamp Platform Launch
ISPChamp launches with 8 Go services, 4 web portals, 6 OLT vendor drivers, 8 payment gateways, and BTRC-compliant operations. Multi-tenant SaaS from day one.
2026
vBNG — The Hardware Killer
ISPChamp vBNG enters beta — IPoE+PPPoE dual-mode, VPP/DPDK data plane, FRRouting for BGP/OSPF. Commodity x86 replaces ZTE/Huawei BRAS hardware.
What We Believe
Operator-First
We run an ISP ourselves. Every feature is battle-tested on real traffic before it ships to customers.
No Vendor Lock-in
We support 6 OLT vendors, 4 router platforms, and commodity hardware for BNG. Your infrastructure, your choice.
Bangladesh Focus
Built for BD regulatory compliance, local payment gateways, NID verification, and BTRC requirements. Not an afterthought — the foundation.
Software-Defined Future
Every network function that can move to software, should. Hardware is for switching packets, not running policy.
